FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q) Do I need experience?
A) We are interested in hard work and talent, not experience, so everyone will have the opportunity to participate - we will hold auditions for anyone who would like to try out for solo and featured parts within the show on the first few days of the course
Q) Are there any fees for joining the cast?
A) The EARLY BIRD cost of our 2 week summer stage school is £99 (working out at less than £10 a day) - for this price you will get an exciting musical theatre course culminating in 2 performances of a musical revue show at Carnegie Hall Annex
Q) Will I need to provide my own costume?
A) Usually all costumes are provided for cast members, however we may ask you to provide basic items and accessories for the summer show such as a black t-shirt and leggings
Q) What should I wear to rehearsals?
A) Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily - you should wear flat shoes (preferably jazz/dance shoes)
Please avoid wearing jeans or skirts/dresses - you will be expected to dance at most rehearsals
Q) Do I need to attend every rehearsal?
A) Participants will be expected to attend every day possible - if you cannot attend we ask that you give us notice in advance - there is a short rehearsal period and we need commitment from everyone to produce a good show. You may miss out on being cast in a particular role if you cannot make all of the listed dates
Q) When are rehearsals?
A) Rehearsals take place from 9am-5pm on Monday-Friday both weeks with 2 performances on Saturday 8th August. Early drop off is from 8.30am
